Removing Your Name from the Scala Open Letter
The Scala Open Letter is currently hosted on GitHub, and is ostensibly maintained by Brian Clapper.
The repository contains a message stating, “This repo is closed. Do not open issues; they will be summarily closed and ignored.” However, it appears that pull requests are currently being merged, and that this is the best way to remove your name from the letter.
If you still have a fork of the repository in your personal GitHub account, please also delete it, but only after your PR is merged.
There is a possibility that the Open Letter repository and website will be removed. While I would welcome that outcome, the signatories would lose the opportunity to retract their names.
If that happens, I will update this page with the most recent snapshot of the list of names and ask that you contact me to remove your name instead.
Thank you.
