Removing Your Name from the Scala Open Letter

The Scala Open Letter is currently hosted on GitHub, and is ostensibly maintained by Brian Clapper.

The repository contains a message stating, “This repo is closed. Do not open issues; they will be summarily closed and ignored.”

Despite this, I am aware of several former signatories who have had success removing their names by contacting Mr Clapper. Therefore, I recommend that you contact Mr Clapper directly to request the removal of your name.

Mr Clapper provides contact details on his personal website.

If you still have a fork of the repository in your personal GitHub account, please also delete it.

There is a possibility that the Open Letter repository and website will be removed. While I would welcome that outcome, the signatories would lose the opportunity to retract their names.

If that happens, I will update this page with the most recent snapshot of the list of names and ask that you email me to remove your name.

Thank you.
